From a hobbyist to hopeful-growing a future from the ground up.

Hi! My names McKenna and I was born and raised in Tacoma, WA. Growing up my mother owned a flower shop in North End Tacoma for 20 years where I spent afterschool and holidays processing flowers, answering phones, and play with left over stems. Back then, as a young teen girl, taking over the flower shop was the last thing on my radar. To be quite frank, becoming a florist was never in my five-year plan. But its funny how life works.

After graduating college I started working for the Pierce County Superior Court where I constantly felt like I was missing something, my creative freedom. At that point I was living in a 700 sqft house with over 200 plants and ALWAYS had flowers on the counter. I started coordinating events for friends, designing bridal bouquets for their weddings, soon after coordinating weddings altogether.

What I avoided for many years became my creative outlet and left me dreaming of a future filled with flowers. Two years ago we moved out to Puyallup and bought a house with a couple acres and a plan to grow as many of my own flowers as possible. After LOTS of demo and hard work (no tractors over here yet πŸ˜…) we are coming into our first season being able to source our own flowers!

Now, don’t get me wrong, I am no expert farmer or floral designer yet, but with every bouquet I make and event I book, I get the opportunity to learn while turning my craft into a career. I hope to be apart of your story one days as much I know you will be apart of mine!
